Dorothy Mary Badurski, 83, of Great Barrington died January 24, 2012 at Fairview Commons Nursing Center.

Born December 28, 1928 in Winsted, Connecticut, Dorothy was the daughter of Frederick and Lena Ellis Hastedt.

She is survived by her sons, Francis Jr. and Michael Badurski and his wife Tamara of Great Barrington, her daughter-in-law Chi Hui of Sierra Vista, AZ and her grandchildren Sophia, Benjamin, Stephanie and Jennifer. She also leaves her sisters June Hastedt and Margaret Gillette both of Housatonic and her brother Arthur Hastedt of Culpepper, VA.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis A. Badurski. The couple was married in 1955 at All Saints Church in Housatonic. She was also predeceased by her son C.P. O. Timothy Badurski in 2006, her brothers Fred, William, Raymond and Albert Hastedt and her sisters Edna Finkle, Alice Hess and Anna Kindick.

Dot will be buried in a private ceremony. There will be no calling hours.
